Birthdays, weddings and other special celebrations are great opportunities to spend time with family and friends and spreading that love can offer renewed hope to someone facing homelessness.

A Facebook birthday fundraiser is easy to set up and is automatically posted to your timeline, letting everyone know what matters to you on your special day without having to directly ask for donations.

Not doing Christmas cards this year? Why not invite family and friends to do the same and donate via an online fundraising page, such as Just Giving or Virgin Money Giving. Donations come straight to Oasis Community Housing, so there is no extra admin for you.

Looking for wedding gifts with a difference? Prezola is the UK’s favourite wedding gift registry where you can list charity donations alongside homeware, experiences and subscriptions. Fundraising in memory of a friend or loved one is a special way to celebrate their life while also making a real difference to the lives of people who have no one else, and nowhere to turn.

Leaving a gift in your Will makes a life-changing difference, not only to thousands of people facing homelessness right now but for future generations as well. Every gift, large or small, has a lasting impact. Contact our Head of Fundraising Mike Salt if you would like to find out more about making a charity Will donation or making a major gift.

A charity collection at a funeral, or asking for donations instead of flowers, is what some people choose to do – especially if your loved one had a cause that was close to their heart. The funeral director is usually able to arrange this for you. We are able to provide Gift Aid envelopes, please get in touch if this would be helpful.
